National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) is focused on improvement in quality of health care.
NCQA is an independent nonprofit organization that is hired by various levels of state and federal agencies to measure and improve patient quality of care within various care delivery systems. Half of all US citizens are covered by Health Plans that participate in HEDIS and other Care Management quality measurement frameworks.
NCQA is also an accreditation program for Health Plan structure, clinical quality and patient care outcome measures.
NCQA has multiple care frameworks for various types of provider/patient care relationships. ReadyCert can be configured for tracking response data, compliance scoring, and supporting artifacts.
